BLOG SURF: Vintage...

...Well it's Saturday Morning! Hallelujah! Taught my annual paper making workshop last Saturday - SHEW!!!! I must really love hand made paper, and introducing people. Otherwise, no one in their right mind would do so much work for so little financial gain.... OK, Thursday June 24th was my 10th Wedding Anniversary. Guess where we spent it -- in line at the Apple Store! 7 Hours. But lovin' my new 4G, and they brought treats around continually so it wasn't too bad. Except we had to leave there and go to our grandson's graduation... I finished the week off by completing my workshop for one participant who had to leave last Saturday -- and here we are -- MY DAY...

I am headed to the MET this afternoon... Still whipping the dust from my eyes I was doing a little surfing and came across an inspiring chain of blogs... Really want to add them to my list, but it's getting rather long, so I am adding "BLOG SURF" to my topics. Occasionally, I will add chains of blogs either for my reference or your enjoyment - if you have not seen them. Such was the case this morning when I came across Verbena Nested Treasures, a vintage shop located in the lobby of the Original & historic Ocala Opera House, in Ocala, FL. From her I found My Dessert Cottage, who is SHOWing SOME BLOGGY LOVE, with some other yummy vintage sites.... So here you go. Have a look if you like VINTAGE as much as I do:

  1. Hi Rosalind,

    What a busy time you have had.
    Glad that the hand made paper workshop is over with - it would have been fun for all the lucky attendees.
    Happy Anniversary!
    Glad that you are loving your 4G - are they much different to the 3G?
    Many thanks for visiting my blog and the kind words you left for me.

    I hope that you are having a lovely weekend.
    Hugs

  2. Hi Carolyn;
    Thanks much...and of course you are welcome.

    @the 4G -- A BIG YES!!! The video quality is HD, the camera pixels are almost as good as my Canon Camera (don't know the numbers, but I will be posting images from trip to the museum, and you will be able to see how beautifully it photographs). Beyond that it faster, more durable, more memory, longer battery time.... It is actually quite nice. I am glad I upgraded. And now I get to share my 3G with my sister -- she is also excited :))

    Can't wait to post pics from the museum... AMAZING PLACE!

    blessings,
    Rosalind
